Chait Galleries opens The Gift Gallery for the first time this November and is currently seeking artisans, craftsman, designers and makers alike to create artistic gifts suited for the gallery and the holiday season. Original and hand-made ornaments, cards, clothing, accessories, jewelry, home goods, ceramics, and small works of art for adults or children will all be considered for the exciting, new opportunity. The Chait Galleries Downtown in Iowa City, Iowa will host The Gift Gallery from November 28 – January 1, 2015 which is open to all artists 18 years and older residing in the United States. All 2D and 3D works will be considered. The Gift Gallery is not a juried show but submitted work will be subjected to a selection process. Not all work submitted will be accepted.     There is no fee to participate, but attendees must have an Iowa City Recreation Division Facility Pass to check out skates and to gain access to the gym. Facility passes may be obtained on site. The first pass is free of charge, but replacement passes are $2.
