Servicing your meeting in the Iowa City / Coralville Area has never been easier. Our Iowa City / Coralville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) convention services team is committed to making your job easier and ensuring that our community hosts your best meeting ever.

From assisting you in attendance building to providing added value for your attendees, we will work with you to provide an unmatched customer service experience. 

List of Provided Convention Services

• Provision of one free plastic welcome bag for everyone attending the conference / meeting, sporting event, or group tour (up to 200 bags)
• Access to an abundant supply of area visitor guides, maps, and brochures
• Access to name badges prepared with supplied information at cost
• Arrangement for and accompaniment on a pre-meeting or pre-tour site visit
• Suggestions of alternative activities for guests of the conference attendees
• Use of CVB's Welcome to Iowa City / Coralville banner
• Arrangement for an official mayoral welcome
• Referrals to local businesses for services such as speakers, caterers, entertainers, beauty/health spas, transportation companies and retailers offering VIP gifts
• Promotion of your event through media releases, newsletters and community calendars 
• Provision of registration assistance, including a laptop and printer at a rate of $8 per hour
