The DeGowin Blood Center is located at C250 GH in University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
The blood center is staffed by physicians, medical technologists, nurses, and technicians who have training and certification in transfusion medicine.
The DeGowan Blood Center is registered with the Food and Drug Administration and accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks and the College of American Pathologists.
The UI DeGowin Blood Center provides service in four major areas: Donor Collections, Therapeutic Hemapheresis, Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Lab, and Transfusion Service.

During football season, we are open 7:00am - 3:30pm on Sunday instead of Saturday.
